Personal Helpers and Mentors Program

The Personal Helpers and Mentors Program (PHaMs) Program seeks to provide increased opportunities for recovery for people whose lives are severely affected by mental illness. The program is available to people aged 16 years and over, whose ability to live independently in the community is effected by a functional limitation resulting from a severe mental illness.

The program supports people to:

  • Manage their daily activities; and
  • Access a range of appropriate and integrated services including community and social support, accommodation, health, welfare and employment.

This program is funded by SOLAS (Supported Options in Lifestyle and Access Services Inc.)
