Emergency Relief Program

The Charters Towers Neighbourhood Centre Inc, in collaboration with St Vincent de Paul, Uniting Church and the Salvation Army, provide immediate financial relief and assist consumers to increase individual family resources through information, education and referral.

Assistance can include food parcels; bread; food vouchers and specific financial assistance with accommodation and other crisis related issues. This assistance is funded by the Commonwealth Department of Families, Housing, Communities Services and Indigenous Affairs. Assistance is available to families and individuals in crisis.
